Don’t you love this time of year? The bulbs are bursting, the birds are fat and singing outside my window, every tree seems to be flowering. I feel like a master gardner with my grass so lush and green! It is as if every thing on the whole earth has burst out of it’s shell and is showing it’s beauty for the first time! Ah, change, growth and rebirth! The world is alive and fresh with opportunity and abundance. That is why I tell all my friends that I chose this month to be born. Just looking outside and smelling the fresh new air brings an automatic smile to my face. I am so happy, excited and grateful to be alive! But all this wonder and beauty comes with a price. All the birds had to fly for hundreds of miles back from the warm south. All the bulbs had to use all their strength to burst out of their shell and push up through the cold earth towards the sun. The clouds in the sky had to burst open to release the much needed spring showers to drench the earth with moisture for this massive growth to occur. Humans are no different. We all need incredible strength and focus and attention to create an extraordinary change in our lives. Nautre just seems to know exactly what to do, as if all the plants and birds have a built in blue print of how to create this miraculous change. They do have one built in. We do too, we just choose to forget all the miraculous stages of the change and growth process we knew at birth. Here’s the blue print again.
The Five Pillars of Success
Here are five steps that will help you tap into the power of action and get back on track to reaching your goals.
1. Ask for help.
It can be so much more difficult on your own. Join or form a MasterMind group, have a coach (sometimes more than one at a time) and belong to several on-line success groups. All of this can help make it possible to get what you want faster, easier and with less effort. Don’t go it alone, get help in achieving what you want in life. You will discover who your true friends are in the process. Chances are, they will have very similar goals as you!
2. Accountability is key
Have you ever noticed how much more aware of your actions you are when you have spoken your intention out loud to someone? You are more likely to keep a promise made to someone else than you are to yourself. If you tell someone else you are going to do something you are ten times more likely to do it than if you just tell yourself. Having someone to be accountable to will increase your chances of success tenfold!
3. Do something towards your goal every day! This is Called Phase Transition.
Yes I know every day is a lot. But your goal attained is a wonderous thing! Set your intention first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Let your subconscious mind do some of the heavy lifting for you. Let your dreams work on what steps to take while you sleep. Then when your feet hit the floor in the morning, you’re be better prepared to take a small step that day. The good news is small steps will get you to where you want to go.
4. Get rid of your excuses.
What do they say? The road to hell is made of good intentions. It is a fateful place to look back on your great plans and intentions and see no change, no action taken. And worst of all, you are the only person to blame! Ugh! Let go of the ego and the worry about what others will think. Just imagine yourself this time next year if you don’t make those painful or embarrassing first little steps. You will find yourself one year older and ten times more frustrated! Make that call, take that step. You know as well as I do, it is much less painful.
5. The How is a mystery for now.
Just Focus your Intention and Pay Attention!
Many people get stopped in their tracks because they focus on the “How.” The how will unfold in front of your eyes if you just pay attention. What you need to focus on is what you want and why. Once you are crystal clear with the “what” and the “why” the “How” will reveal itself. So relax, the how isn’t your job, you simply need to focus on what it is you want and follow the inspired steps you are shown. Pay Attention!
And remember, “If you are currently struggling in any area, it doesn’t mean you’re not perfect. It just means you’re ready to make a shift.” Excerpt from James Ray’s book Harmonic Wealth. http://www.harmonicwealthbestseller.com/?a=CD3226.
Rock on my friend! Just follow the example of the birds and trees and Allow it all to unfold in front of your eyes! Life is Fantastic!
